10. Current History: a journal of contemporary world affairs

Current History is an international affairs journal with appeal for the non-specialist. Each issue concentrates on a single topic (such as U.S. trade policy) or a geographic area (like Latin America). A typical issue contains seven or eight brief articles written in a non-technical style. The authors are American academics, usually subject specialists. A regular feature, "The Month in Review," is a chronological summary of the most important events of world affairs two months previously.

Fortune is among the best known general business magazines in the United States. Its articles tend to be longer than those in other magazines of this type, and frequent use of sidebars allows the reader to learn more about corollary issues.
