Notice on Test of the Warden System  

Thank you for registering with the U.S. Consulate General in Shanghai.  As part of your registration, you have been assigned to a Warden zone.  Each zone has been assigned to a volunteer American Citizen who will act as the Warden for your zone.  In times of emergency, the U.S. Consulate may call upon your Warden to assist Americans in distress or help transmit messages. 

In the coming week, we plan to test our Warden System.  You will receive a message from your Warden, either by email, fax, text message, or telephone asking you to reply.  Your timely response in this test will help us to evaluate the utility and effectiveness of our Warden System.
